Remarks

I got it through keam and I got rank below 16k. I applied to toc H institute of science and technology. Toch constantly promotes innovation, and entrepreneurship and promotes students to come up with fresh ideas. Scholarships are available for students getting good grades in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I choose is computer science and engineering. As I am so passionate to learn and discover more in web development. Faculties are really good and they are always there for us to support in our every need. They are all well experienced.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College offers a wide variety of internships. They offer a lot of online and offline internships according to our preference. They help boost our resumes and give us technical experience. Tinkerhub offers a lot of internships too.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd year onwards college placement training starts. Companies like Infosys, IBM, quest global, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, IBS, Tech Mahindra, H&R Block, etc. All most all of the students get placements in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are reasonable. Scholarships are available for students who scored good grades in 12th. Financial assistance is available for students. Social commitment is met by offering scholarships to deserving students.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good. I really enjoy it here. We have many fests happening in college every year. The college infrastructure is good. A lot of books are available in our college library to discover. Clubs like tinkerhub are there here for students

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?
