Remarks
I would say the college is far from city which is in one way good but lacks connectivity with other colleges
Entrance Preview
During my time, it was AIEEE score through which you could get into this college but now its JEE score. I got 115 in AIEEE based on which the college had there merit list.I was more interested in persuing Comp. Science but due to lower merit I was getting E&TC and Mech. so I chose E&TC. Coming from an army background, I wanted to experience its culture so even though I was not getting Computers but chose to stay thinking I will switch the course after 1 year of completion
Course Curriculum Overview
College course curriculum is that of Pune University which is pretty tough for E&TC aspirant. It has E&TC, Computer science, Mechanical, Information Technology engineering.Overall level of College faculty is good.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Microsoft, Bharat forge, Josh Pvt. LTd. etc gives a good enough experience of work culture in corporate. Some company gives stipend and few don't.
Placement Experience
We were the batch 240 student out of which around 200 got placed with average salary of 3.1 Lacs per annumFor Eg. Accenture took 94 people with 3.1 lacMu Sigma took 27 people with 18 lac for 3 years (not a bond)Deloitte took i guess 11 people with 6 lac paZS Associate took 18 people with 6 lac pa etc
College Events
College holds many inter and intra level events like Inter Solutions: Technical event (coding, RC engine race, Gaming etc), BCJ event : This is for debating, GD, Speeches, Jam, Plays etc, Pace: Sports event
Fee Structure And Facilities
As its an Army college it was suppose to have less fees compared to other colleges so it has same fee structure that of other general category student. It does not have any reservations. I think 1.1 lac for regular course and 40 thousand additional for hostel, mess, laundry etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Indian express merit based scholarship, Scholarship for those who got ranks in there branch. There is a scholarship for the wards of ORs and JCOs who has retired. PMs scholarship (for this you yourself have to apply)
Campus Life
Campus life was good. We had lot of fun, workshop, college trips. no discrimination. But one thing, as not much of the girls opt for engineering and that to an Army child so the Gender ratio was low i.e around 1:4 which i think is all over India in every engineering college
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are Good. You can get singlet, doublet and triplet depending on the merit. But for first years i think its compulsory to live in Triplet(sharing)
Alumni/Alumna
Our Alumini network is awesome. We have a facebook group where all are connected and have frequent chats. If somebody needs help in getting placed or to switch a company then our seniors helps a lot in decision making as well as guidance
