Remarks
The eligibility was from the AEEE exam and JEE Main Exam. You should have a percentage of at least 60 in physics, chemistry, and maths subjects. The application forms and others can be found on the amrita. ac. the website. There you can find everything regarding the admission process and application process. In my opinion, everything was good regarding the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because I am interested in studying Computer Science. The faculty is very good. Everybody in the faculty is having excellent skills in managing the students. A teaching method is a person-to-person interaction in the forenoon sessions every day. In the afternoon session, we have labs on various subjects. There are regular quizzes for every subject. The difficulty to pass the exam was medium.
Internships Opportunities
Our campus itself provides many internships. We also get paid internships as a part of our PG program at leading companies like Microsoft, Google, Intel, etc. These internships provide direct placements within their respective companies.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are many top companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, etc. who visit the college for placements. They make many offers regarding our course and placements. The highest package made is about 560000 INR per year. It has an average package of around 600000 INR. The percentage of students getting placement is 96%. My plan after this degree is to work as a software developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our batch, the course fee is 260000 INR including the tuition fees. If you are staying at a hostel then it will be around 330000 INR per year. I am currently doing my fourth semester now. So I am curred on my way to getting jobs.
Campus Life
There are various types of annual and tech fests. The college library is the best library I have ever seen. There are lots of books which we need on various topics and all. Our college also supports Sports a d extra curriculum activities. We have a physical education department for sports and all. The Amfoss club and BiOs club are managed by the students.
Hostel Facilities
They are providing us with a room for 4 people. We are provided with one bed, one table and one chair each. We are also provided with a balcony for each room. The meal quality was good. The problem for many people is only Vegetarian food is available. It will take time to adjust to the food. They are providing dosa, idli,pulav, noodles, pasta, etc. as breakfast. They are providing 2 types of rice and various curries for the lunch. They are providing noodles, rice, chapati, etc. for the dinner. The hostel registration process can be also done in the application process. There is also various rented rooms/PG available around us. They are having a minimum rent of 6000/person with food.
