A to Z of NIT's( Especially NIT PATNA )

To be eligible for the B.Tech course at the NIT. You have to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) held every year and have to qualify it and score a percentile within the cut-off range of the NIT(you're seeking admission). For example: to take admitted to NIT Patna's ECE branch, one has to score above 96 percentile (for OBC and GENERAL category). The Application form for the JEE exam is available on the jee mains. nic. in website whenever it is to be held (twice in a year (as per 2022 rules and conditions)) prescribed in January and April(postponement can be done as per situations). JEE Application form costs Rs.650(for General and OBC students) and (Rs. 325 for SC-ST students) and is available for almost a month from the release of the application. As I'm an OBC category student. I'm provided with a benefit in the cut-off percentile score of JEE (in NITs, IITs, and IIEST Shibpur)in comparison to the GENERAL category students. No improvement in JEE admission process.

I have an interest in the ECE branch because of my brother (who is also an ECE graduate ) and for me, HE is my IDEAL. Also, one can get knowledge of any branch through the INTERNET. Faculty: student ratio in my college is around 1:80. Faculty are of very much knowledge. All are highly qualified(at least all are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields). their method of teaching is also very nice. Some taught their subjects very interestingly BUT some are boring too. The exams are held timely within your semester duration(informed on the website at least 2-3 weeks earlier). You can pass the exam with good grades if you're focused on the class teachings and have prepared good NOTES.

Mainly Internship opportunities are available from companies like Amazon company India, OYO, SAP, OPTUM, JIO, TATA, ERICSSON, etc.. and are mostly paid Internships. The motto of an internship trainee is to gain work experience. Roles offered are software development Engineer, Junior Product Manager, Support Engineer Intern, Applied Scientist intern, Financial scientist Intern, etc. The stipend is RS. 3000-25000 per month. These are some projects given to an intern trainee: create a presentation, Sit at client meetings, Figure out better systems, Keep an organized workspace, Enter data into a spreadsheet, Ask customers for feedback, etc. Outcomes are that students gain self-understanding, self-confidence, and interpersonal skills.

From the 3rd year onwards Students are eligible for placements. Many companies visited any NIT PATNA like Adobe, Microsoft, Wipro, L&T, Samsung, HDFC bank, etc., and the total no. of OFFERS made in placement 2021-22 is 268. The highest package given is Rs.1.6 Cr. to an ECE girl by Facebook(now META )and the Average package is about Rs.10LPA. As per Placement Statistics (2021-22), the Percentage of students placed is 130%. After getting the degree, I would pursue a job in any of the Big MNC's like GOOGLE, AMAZON, TESLA, etc.

For a GENERAL category, Student fees will be Rs.62500 (excluding Infrastructure costs, Miscellaneous charges, etc. which have to pay only once) at NIT PATNA as per the year 2021 admission process. Using the RESERVATION criteria and the (INCOME SLAB criteria), students can pay less according to their college rules provide at the time of ADMISSION (at REPORTING STAGE). EXAMPLE: an OBC student has to pay 36500 per semester having an income of between1-5 lakhs. No, Information regarding Scholarships, etc.

MELANGE is the annual cultural fest and CORONA is the Annual tech fest held in January and October respectively at NIT PATNA. There are a Lots of books and journals available at the library. So, you need not worry about that. The newly built CLASSROOM is fully AC. But older ones have to be managed with the ceiling fans. BUT overall the classrooms are neat and clean and are full of Ease. There are many sports and extracurricular activities going on in the SAC BUILDING at NIT PATNA like (Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket) and (Singing, Dancing, Stand-Up), etc. SAPTAK club (Singing club), TOTAL CHAOS (Dance club), HACKSLASH club(Coding related),ROBOTICS CLUB etc. are some clubs at NIT PATNA.
