Remarks

Eligibility is just you have to pass the exams with good score h your score should be in the cutoff list but from this year onwards du will conduct entrance exam and give admission on the basis of the exam, there are separate cutoffs for reserved candidates which is less then general students

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this course is easy so side by side i can prepare for my competitive exams faculty is nice not that much good teachers are supportive Exams are held once in a semester in the ending or semester and exams are easy but your have to write more to score good

Class Size: 39Course Fees: INR 6050 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities in our college is not at all good There are very less chances of Getting internship from college as i have not provided any internship from college but our college faculty is working on this issue

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for sitting in the placement and companies like indian oil, bsnl, etc visits our college and the average package is about 3-4 lakhs per year Percentage of students getting job is about 50-60 %

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of the college is very less as 6000 per year which is quite good no burden of fees and there are no hike policy Some senior of our college said that there are campus placements in our college and average salary is around 3-4 lac pa but I'm not sure about placement as I'm in 5 semester

Festa in our college in boring as last year there is only one fest holi fest but some said that the annual fest before covid was osm but we don't konw the truth New building of our college is good but they didn't open it till now

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

I applied overall for all the colleges obviously on the first round I got shyama Prasad college for women and I didn't like it so in the 2nd round I got this college and I didn't go for 3rd round because I accidentally placed a not well reputed college above this so yeah I choose this one. *I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
