Remarks
The grievance cell needs to be more active and polite with the students during admission. Delay in processing creates immense headaches for the students. Short deadlines should not be appreciated as they create big chaos.
Course Curriculum Overview
Always had a great interest in Political Studies and getting inside this Dau college was enough for me to pursue my interests. There is a teacher for every 100 students which is fine I believe as it hasn't created much of a problem other than fitting them in one single classroom. The professors are well-qualified and professional educators. Due to the loss of classes in Covid, our semesters have been shortened from 6 months to 4 months and it did get difficult but the teachers have been very adaptable.
Internships Opportunities
The college itself doesn't provide internships as such. The placement cell does come up with internship offer updates for students from courses and years. If you've built a good network, you will find good internship opportunities from people around you.
Placement Experience
After completing the second year or passing the first four semesters, students are eligible for getting placed in companies. Top-ranked companies come to college and offer brilliant minds opportunities in their company. The placement cell is active throughout.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are extremely affordable. The only financial headache is food and accommodation in Delhi. Fees don't get to hike exponentially every year. It stays affordable. Certain government scholarships provide scholarships and financial assistance to students belonging to economically weaker sections of society.
Campus Life
There is a wide band of college societies and clubs at the Kirori Mal College. Cultural, creative, business, social, entrepreneurial, etc. focusing societies run 365 days by the students. For the majority of students, these college societies are the best part of their college life.
