Remarks
Merit-based cut-off, 95.75 cut-offs for BA Programme course. You can get two majors here (for example- I chose Political science and History). Every college offers different subjects where you get to make choices between the options. All applications and updates through the DU website or Instagram pages such as DU beat. Sports, Extra co-curricular quota, CW, EWS, SC, ST, ward quota applicable. The admission process is slower since it is a government-based organization, and can be done more efficiently.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams for the first 3 semesters were online, BA Programme course-wise is easy, fun, and relaxing in comparison to honors courses. Assignments were given every month per semester ( may differ from college to college). Exams happen and are easy to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
Placement Cell is active and you can check their works on Instagram helps you a lot. Scholarships are abundantly available for people from the EWS, in general, there are scholarships by the state government, check accordingly. DU college life is more about social life than course life so check on other societies.
Campus Life
I am a part of the Debating Society, Enactus, and National Service scheme. The former is clear in itself, as the latter focus on social structure and helping the marginalized, here in societies you find people with similar thinking and similar mindset and this is how you get friends and these friends might just become family for you. Sports need to be pursued compulsorily if you come through the sports quota.
