The college has excellent infrastructure. Mechanical department is full with extraordinary teachers just a bit of setback is that very less companies come from mechanical field for placement. That being improved it's a remarkable place to study.

I took AIEEE scored 2.9l all india rank not that great. The admission process is also followed with uttarakhand's state technical exam. Got mechanical engineering. The college was much better than other colleges i was getting admission in and the best college in uttarakhand. There is no interview, just normal counselling, u get the branch according to your rank 50% seats were reserved for state entrance admittee.

I interned from india yamaha motor pvt. ltd. applied on my own. There was no stipend paid.Accenture came to college for internship for interested students. It was for both it and non-it students.Students not interested had to apply on their own for internship.

There weren't many companies from mechanical field for campus placement.Ashok leyland came with a package of 7l p.a. and 4 students got placed.bosch came with a package of 5l p.a., and 1 student gor placed.Jbm came with a package of 2.2l p.a. and 4 students got placed.Rest were placed in it companies like accenture and infosys.

There are 2 college festivals every year.one is inter-college festival, thats called grafest. This goes on for 3 days. its on a large scale with celebrities coming everyday, singers, comedians, actors,etc.the other one is intra-college fest for the college students only.

The college hostels are excellent. It feels like you are living in a 5 star hotel. the rooms are three seater, with all the facilities available like free wifi, mess, laundry etc.The hostel fees along with mess charges was 50k per year at that time.

Loan facility is available at the time of admission from various banks. I didn't take any but stalls from banks were present at the time of admission. You can easily get it.About scholarship i didn't avail one, but some of my batch mates were getting. It is based on your merit rank in aieee. it starts from lakhs per year to a few thousands.

The college gender ratio is almost equal. But if we talk specifically about mechanical it was 8 girls between 120 boys, divided in two sections. That's because not many girls prefer to be in a branch like mechanical which requires physical work along with mental.the labs are excellent giving all practical knowledge of what you get to study in books.

Its easy to contact seniors while being in college and afterwards. The college has alumni meets in different metro cities every year, i.e. delhi, bangalore, pune etc. So that every student can be part and be in touch with college.The college also invites ex students to interact with the current students so they can know how far their seniors have gone.

The faculty of mechanical is pretty good. the senior teachers are well experienced and have great knowledge in their field. This helps as they share their experiences along with teaching academics. As they say, learn all you can from the mistakes of other
