Remarks

I took JEE Advanced in 2020 which had a cutoff of 10% marks in each subject and 35% of aggregated marks. I availed the benefit of girls' reservation which is by default provided based on your gender. You need not do any documentation work in extra. Although it is hard to contact JOSAA to correct any information if we have filled it out wrong by mistake.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because of its properly managed study load. Chemical Engineering requires a level of discipline but not much of our time. The faculty in the Chemical department of IITR is friendly and supportive. Despite of covid-19 crisis, the semester exams were held at a time but sometimes it was faced that the syllabus wasn't completed in the class and we had to cover it on our own.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are also provided by placement cell (PIC) and different profiles are opened each year. Although mist of them are for SDE, Data scientists and analysts. There is a resume shortlist firstly then the testa is held under proctoring by the placement cell and then the shortlisted Students are called for interviews.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a placement cell that contact companies to come and hire students and mist of the students get their jobs through campus placements. There are different types of companies for different profiles. And about 150-200 companies come over each year. I have plans for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is relevant as per the income criteria of students' parents. There are 2 kinds of fee waivers, one is a full fee waiver that is given to people with an annual income less than 1L and the other is a 2/3rd fee waiver that is given to one with an annual income less than 5L. There are various scholarships and awards given based on different criteria to the students. I avail 2/3rd fee waiver every semester. Students can also take loans from the college bank.

Campus Life

4

Cultural fest- Thomso held in October Technical fest- Cognizance held in March-April The library is quite large and has textbooks related to the courses and of other interests too. Classrooms have ample space with good furniture and are air-conditioned. There are several sports grounds and courts like badminton, lawn tennis, squash, volleyball, football, and basketball. Also, there is a separate building for indoor games such as snooker, table tennis, pool, carrom, and chess. Besides this, there are cultural groups like the Choreography and Dance section(which I am a part of), a Music section, Dramatics section, Audio, Lights, Cinesec, Cinema and many more. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, NSS, NCC, and CRY are all social groups and are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Rooms have ample space and are provided with the required furniture and almirahs. Due to increased reservation for girls, there is a shortage of available rooms hence 2nd year has to share a 2 seater room as a 3 seater. There are student bodies as secretaries for Hostel, Mess, Cultural and so on. That's why it's easier to put our views in front of the

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
