Northeastern NITs review

I gave JEE mains to be eligibility for the course as the only way to get admission here is JEE mains . The JEE application start between January-February and exam held twice a year in two different shifts the application fee is typically 600 ruppees or more (it's as per my year ). I got this college through CSAB counseling as I didn't got anything good in JOSAA . Being an ST candidate i got this college at 2 lac rank (female). The application process in our time is mostly online so we didn't face much hardship but the offline mode need preparation as this is a northeastern NIT far for every North Indian n south Indian thus travelling cost a lot .

Frankly speaking I choose this course because it is 2B tier college and I don't want to go in lower NITs . The facilities here all mostly local the one who graduated from this college then opted for masters m PhD are again teaching here only . They are every partial towards home state students with is the worst part of this college. The student ratio in our branch is like 70-75 which is highest by so far . The more crowd is in CSE , ECE , EE , etc. The teaching method is okay here or we can say average. As due to COVID times we have our semester of 4 months in which we have mid term in 1n half month n at the end of 4 th month we have our end term . The exams are quite simple as if you prepare 10-15 days before exams if you want to score good marks or else one day study before exams will get you passing marks too.

As a second year student i didn't get any intership yet but as per our seniors we can get intership in ONGCs , pollution control organization in Agartala itself in other state we have more opportunity.will be given project in your 3 Rd year.

After 6th semester we are eligibility for intership opportunity given by the college. And in 4th year mid the students start to get placed as they are pre placed before their exams. The companies like Google, Amazon, samsung, Infosys etc visit here basically IT companies came here the core companies came but the numbers are less. Many students get the placements here. The highest package was 36 LPA this year and the average is about 2-3LPA . I DON'T KNOW the exact but about 60% approx get placed. I'll be pursuing masters after my BTECH.

As being a ST candidate i don't pay much fees here but i have to pay the whole hostel fee . The hostel fee is about 60k per year including mess and the tution fee is about 16k approx. Scholarships are available on NSP . I didn't apply for scholarship so I don't have much idea about it.

The fest are limited here rn . We had less than 1-2 fest or say cultural activities this year . Where other NITs are conducting large fest we have nothing but only bengali festivals celebrated here. The library is the best part of this college books are easily available here n the infrastructure is really good here . Classrooms are average we don't get any feel of studying in any NIT we feel like we studying in any local school . The other good thing about nit Agartala is the sports complex is very large and the different sports activities are done though good for boys girls can go to sports complex after 6. We have many clubs here dance, music, drama , ebaja, ecell , literacy club ,etc they are very active n small events on there club is being conducted with doesn't invite the whole college .

The hostel rooms are small n compact it is a room for one but given to two . You'll get a single room from 3rd year if you are a boy else girls have to live with their roommates till they graduate. The mess is average if you can survive you can. The menu for non vegetarian is good they provide fish , egg , chicken twice a week. The hostel for other state students is easier to get n is quite affordable. The college is about 30 km away from city and between that only village area so we can expect to get a PG n all even if you want to then you have travell 30km all the way there which might cost more than hostel so hostel is better than pg here .

THERE WAS NO INTERVIEW HERE ONLY THE JOSAA COUNSELLING FOR IT . I PREEPARED THROUGH MY COACHING THAT I TOOK FOR PPHYSICS CHEMISTRY AND MATHS THE FOUNDATION COURSE FOR THE JEE MAINS EXAM AFTER THAT JEE ADVANCE HAPPEN WHICH GIVES ADMISSION IN IITS
