Remarks
The eligibility of the course is science stream. In PCM they want more than 60%. It is compulsory to give the IMU-CET exam to be selected for this college. The candidate must be a graduate of Mechanical/ Civil/ Marine /Naval Architecture or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. SC and ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this field, we got the opportunity to work while you travel across the globe, getting high pay packages, obtaining tax exemptions, getting exposure to varied cultures, meeting people from different nationalities, and much more. The difficulty of a question is subjective and depends upon the candidate. However, majority of the questions are of moderate level with a few numbers difficult level questions.
Internships Opportunities
Students may undertake part of their internship (with appropriate learning outcomes) as short-term training abroad to provide them with an international perspective on their programme of study. The short-term internships may include any of the following: Industrial or work experience. Clinical training.
Placement Experience
Cadets are eligible to get placement after 4rh semester. More than 10 Companies visited imu. Most recruiting companies in our college are Fleet Management, BSM, Pacific Basin, NYK, MOL, and much more. 75%-80% are getting placement every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
4 Year B.Tech (Marine Engineering) For Male Cadets Rs.2,25,000/- per year For Girl Cadets Rs.1,43,000/- per year. State / UT / Community-wise physical allocation of scholarships and timeline activities under the three scholarship schemes for minority communities for the year 2022-23.
Campus Life
In imu campus, sports activities are from 17:30hrs onwards. Basketball cricket volleyball badminton table tennis etc sports are played here. There are separate courts and playgrounds for all separate sports.
