Remarks

The eligibility for the course is 60 percent in PCM. The application form can be found in the college admission department and the online site of the college. I wish the admission process was much faster than earlier.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course out of interest. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5. The faculty is well experienced and most of them have a Ph.D. and some of them pursuing a Ph.D. They teach well. The exams come at the semester's end that is at every 5 months. The pass mark is 40/100.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 100000 per year. There is no fee hike in our college. There is a scholarship named Toc H Scholarship for meritorious students. There is financial assistance provided by the partner bank in our college.

Campus Life

There is a big tech fest named Advay which many colleges coke and attend. The classrooms are top notch. There is smart boards and projectors. They encourage students to take part in sports and games like football basketball etc.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
