Remarks

The process of admission was easy. It was merit-based and I got benefits through my obc certificate. You will get all the notifications on the college website and university website. Everything was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Hindi is our national language and only this course was suitable for my percentage. 50 students took Hindi honours. The faculty is good in behaviour. They helped each and every time. Exams are not so hard just you need to study for 2 hours daily and you can score good marks.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 7550 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies which visit our college every year and took more than 500 students for the placement of internships and jobs too. For the intership students can get 15000 per month and for the jobs, it can go up to 2 lakh per month

Placement Experience

College provides internships for the students and scholarships too. Students in 3rd year can eligible for placements. Companies like airtel, jio, and tata visit every year. The highest package was 50lacs per annum. 45% of students were selected last year. I will marry after getting a degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not high. It depends on colleges how much they charge. Less than 10000 is enough for submitting fees and it also includes books and examination fees too. There are many scholarships but I didn't opt for that.

Campus Life

In the month of may, 2022a party was organized for 3rd year students as a farewell party and the fresher's party for the 1st year students. The party was so good. It was organized by the 2nd year students. Our library is good, it contains every book that you might read and AC was installed for the students. Each and every sport we can play. Everything is possible.

Interview Experience

There was no interview or written test. Everything was good and the process of admission was totally merit based and when the first cutoff released. I was eligible for the admission in the motilal Nehru college evening with the hindi honours.

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

It was not my choice to be in this college, rather i had not any idea about this college, it was just in my prefernce list beacuse of course and south campus, as i was enrolled in 2023 and now it is 2026, many developments and changes can be seen... Before i was alloted for Bcom, shaheed bhagat singh evening college.. which was also a good college.. the CUET UG and all the experiment of negative marking and round offs that time.. Besides this college and DU, I had applied to Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University and the University of Lucknow. I got admission in all of them. But I chose to attend this college solely for the Delhi University tag. The admission process for this college is the CUET. After CUET results, you have to register through Delhi University's CSAS portal and make a preference list of colleges. Cutoffs to get into the college depend upon course to course. For the course im doing - B.com (Program), the cutoff was 713-717 for Unreserved Category, 571-577 for OBC category, 463-474 for SC category and 86-103 for ST category.
