AIT Pune

First of All, your parent should be currently serving in the Indian Army or is retired with at least 10 years of service. This is the primary eligibility condition. The application form will be released on the AIT website itself one month before the second session of JEE. There is no reservation in AIT. Admission is purely based on merit.

It's obvious that everyone wants to enter the software field and Computer Science is the best course for that. Before considering a college we generally see its placement records which are high at AIT. The average package for CSE and IT in AIT is around 13 lakh per Annum. The faculty ratio is around 1:25. The faculty and administration are very supportive and they encourage us to participate in co-curricular activities such as hackathons. For every semester we have Mid Sem, Practical, and End-sem and almost 90% of the students pass the exam.

Students can sit for internships from the 3rd year itself. Many companies visit colleges for placements. Credit Suisse, BNY Mellon, Amazon, Cred, etc. The highest package was 52 LPA this year by Cred. Almost 95% of students get placed every year.

Fees structure is decent when compared to other private colleges that to in a city like Pune. The fee structure is decent. As everyone is an Army ward almost everyone is eligible for scholarships from the Indian Army. On top of that, there are many Merit-Based scholarships.

There are almost 20 clubs in the college. Every club is run by students. Inter college tech fest named Solutions is conducted every year in April and the Cultural Fest named Amethyst in May. And we have a huge Library with access to almost 2000+ journals. There is also a sports fest conducted every year named Pace in January.

In the first year, it is mandatory to stay in a hostel. There are 3 types of rooms. Singlet, Doublet, and Triplet. You get the rooms according to your merit. Mess is also decent when compared with other private colleges.
