Remarks

I was taken admission through cut off marks of 12 classes. My top 4 subjects percentage was 92% in 12 class. For admission in Deen Dyal Upadhyaya College first of all I I did registration on du website and then according to du colleges cut off and my preferance I chose DDUC and again fill a form for admission in DDUC.

I was a humanity student so I decided to take admission in BA program at Deen Dyal Upadhyaya college. The faculty in this college was good and the student ratio was average. The teaching methods were good. Exams were semester-wise. Every student has to give exams after 6 months.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was average in our college. It was around 17000 on average per annum. You can take a scholarship in this college if your family income does not exceed around 4 lakh and you have an income certificate then you can take a scholarship of 10000 rs per annum. This college also provides a fee concession of around 2000 per annum.

Campus Life

In this college infrastructure is the best. Our college building is awesome. It has 6 floors. It had a big library. It had a big ground and a good canteen. It has also a gym and sports facility. Every room has an AC facility. There are many societies in our college such as dance, poem, drama, quizzes etc. It has a beautiful auditorium.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Good college for Life science.

I had a chance to float and choose other colleges of Delhi University But this college has everything which a modern infrastructure college wants and lab facilities for sciemce students is much good than north campuses. Modern infrastructure of this college gives competition to North campus of delhi university. I applied for Delhi university and colleges which i selected was Hindu college,Ramjas college,SGTB khalsa,Deen dayal upadhyaya ,kirori mal college,etc. But in first round i Got Deen dayal college so i continued with it and froze my seat . Later on E mail came from college for joining. Your documents verification occurs in november and you are given a more chance if you are not able to submit the documentt. Eligibility of my course: PCB background with 60% in 12th And tou should apply for CUET and select subjects like Physics, chemistry and biology also English(qualifying).
