NIT Patna all u need to Know.

Eligibility is on Board (i.e >=75%) after clearing JeeMains and enrol for JOOSA counselling and select seats wisely as per your choice. if you are an OBC < SC/STs it is quite easier to get this collage also for girls cut-offs has a large margin. JEE reservations criteria : category wise who belongs to OBCs, SSs/STs, EWS or PWD and also girls can seek reservation in College allotment EWS- 10%, Girls-21%, OBC-21%, SC/ST- approx 10%-15% and the rest seats are for the general cut-off and are larger for the general boys. Improvement in the management of counselling is required.

Robotics : The teacher is quiet strict but explains very well. maximum teachers are friendly but few are like (just great they are there only to put u in trouble just by taking extra class and assignment and also test. attendance of 75 % is quite a big problem, many professors have no problem with that but a few will just make u aware of what a professor means in NITs/ IITs. they just force u to just seat in class even if u are not understanding there whole shit , but still they will force you.

all together till now, many companies allowed Electrical, ECE, and CSE students to sit for intern and also more than 60 had gotten this also. Texas Instrument, Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian and many more.

in recent few years placement is at the peak also more than 60 students had got inter in 3 year only and still people are getting opportunity . placement is quiet good as all big Tech as well as Core companies are coming in campus . u just have to show your skill.

I haven't seen any fee hike in recent 3-4 years this is what the benefit of a government collage and also u will get many Scholarship opportunities if u are an economical weaker section of society. but maximum are available in first year only so just be aware of all the things make contact with seniors and try to explore as much as u can.

A lot of clubs are there approx 21. if u are interested in any of the things u join a particular club from education to robotics to development u will have to just show your interest nothing else . The library is quiet good and I thing enough books is there for any UG student. few classrooms are old like in the civil department and many had Ac Problems no one is there for maintenance just it is as it is .

Brahmputra is the largest hostel which alone accommodate all 2,3,4 year student. always there is lift problem and no one will listen to you if your room is on 9,10 floors then be prepared for your exercise . The locality is not good as u seen everywhere on government property encroachment and all that, especially since there is Law collage and Science collage.
