Remarks

This college comes under the University of Delhi. Each and every year the college declares Cut off according to the board's examination. The minimum mark you are required to take admission in Economics Hons is 98% and above and if you are having any category Then also you need at least 93% and above. [ 93% is possible if and only seats are left .else every category seat gets filled with the 4th cut off which is generally 95%.].

The faculty is extremely qualified and they will help you a lot with your semester examination. This college is one of the oldest colleges on the North Campus of Delhi University. The student teacher is perfect. Ramjas College had started the SAEM conference.

We the Economics Hons student are currently in the development of our Research Paper. Ramjas Economics Review is one of the colleges in Delhi University to receive the ISBN. Any Research paper published in this Journal will help you to grab a seat in many Foreign Universities.

Placement Experience

The 3rd year students are eligible for campus Placement and the 1st and 2nd year students are provided internships. The Highest package received by Economics Hons students this year is 22 lakh PA and the average is around 5.5 lakh PA. Zeolite and many MNCs visit our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college is maintained by the central government so the fee hike is not so much it raises its fee after every five years and that too maximum of 1500. Its current fee is 13,450 per year more or less the same for all courses.

There are officially 8 societies in our college and these societies provide you with a lot of opportunities where you can open up. There can be an ideological differences but these are very much welcomed. This society will help you to explore new ideas and creative mindset development. All books are available in the library.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
