Remarks

No admission process is very smooth all the community is helpful and also the working of the officials is quite good they hear each concern of students one thing is it must be completely digitalized to reduce the time taken for decisions

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a keen interest in mechanical engineering and also wanted to pursue automobile sort of engineering so it was best for faculties are very interactive and communicative faculty: students ratio is 1:40 Generally, faculty members are postgraduate and have unique teaching methods generally, exams are in two weeks' time and they are Moderate to pass

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various companies take students from campus for internships including every profile such as software developer app developer data science core jobs as well as analytics Also, the projects are provided by each club on every topic

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement offers. The highest package was 2.25 crores international and the average is around 18lacs 90-95% get placed I'm not yet specific about my plans

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel the price should not be hiked since every parent can't afford the high fees of even government college and also the scholarship are of various kinds available in college which can be availed by showing the required documents

Campus Life

The annual fest is Alcheringa and which is conducted every year in March the tech fest is Techniche held every year in September. there are more than 4lac books and journals available in the library. Every facility is available in academic complexes. The campus consists of various sports including every ground reserved for a specific sport Also, various clubs are run by students bodies in every field

Hostel Facilities

There are chairs and tables provided in classroom with a water canteen and washroom available in complexes also the meal quality is awesome with a great menu making the mouth-watering just y names of dishes Also, the affordability is good in hists with easy registration

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

The placement of Assam engineering College is average as compared to the other colleges like iit and not. Aec gives placement around 20-24 lakhs and many company parts in the placement cell and many of the students get their dream job

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I chose IIT Guwahati because of a strong IIT brand , excellent placements and comparetively lower fees. Compare to other IIT's it provied good campus expreience and less academic pressure. Compare to other NIT's , private colleges ,IIT Guwahati stands out in every fields. If one coudn't make it too higher IIT's it's because of not elegible after the JEE advanced rank as competition is very intense. Detailed and Unbiased Review

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
