Remarks

The admission process was seamless, You can apply both in online mode and offline mode, I did it in offline mode and it was flawless. You can find the application form on the official website of the college i.e. www.gehu.ac.in or you can physically go to the college if you want to. There is a certain %off on your fees- if you have a domicile of Uttarakhand and also if you have a defense background other than that, you also get a scholarship based on your percentage in 12.

I chose B.Tech because it is the future in my opinion, and the opportunity in this field is never-ending. The student-to-faculty ratio is good, you will never feel that the teacher is too busy with other students, and you can easily interact with the teachers. I can speak for the CS faculty and most of them are very good at what they do, they have their unique teaching method which is good. The term exams are moderate and you can easily pass if you just attend lectures and do a little bit of studying.

Fees and Financial Aid

you have to pay fees twice a year for two semesters, and the mode of payment is offline and online. I prefer the online mode because of the convenience, you can just log into your college ID and just fill in the details and submit fees within minutes you get a scholarship based on your domicile of Uttarakhand, if you are from a defense background, based on your percentage in 12.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called grafest, it is supposed to happen in august - September which I heard about a lot but haven't seen since I am here, some of it because of Covid. Other than that regular fests are going on every time and the arrangements are good. Books are in abundance in the library and you can go and get your books anytime. Every classroom has a projector and good seating facilities, proper ventilation, and good lighting, so the students can focus on their studies properly. Almost all the sports like football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, and basketball are conducted on the regular basis There are so many clubs run by students, like swaging, Shikhar club, and heart in music to name a few.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I got admission offer from Sharada, SRM and GEHU Bhimtal campus also but compared to all of them placement system is good in GEHU DDN. No I donot get rejections at all For admission you have to consult with the admission team and they will give you form of admission where all needed details need to be filled.
