Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical engineering provides good opportunities in both IT and core fields during placements. Teachers have proper knowledge of their respective subjects. They have friendly nature and are ready to help you. Each semester has mid-term and End term exams which are not difficult to clear if you are regular in classes.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies that came for internships are google, amazon, trilogy, PayPal, sapio analytics, Texas, etc. and the main roles offered to students were SDE intern, Data Analytics, business development trainee, etc.
Placement Experience
Around 85 % got placed last year. The highest package offered in EE was 45lpa by google. The average package was around 8lpa. Many it and core companies visited for placement such as Texas, google, amazon, MathWorks, Paytm, PayPal, Phonepay, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is around 1.4 lakh for 1 year but various scholarships are available to students by the central government on the basis of categories and family income. Good placement opportunities are available.
Campus Life
An air-conditioned centralized library is present with all necessary books. NIT Agartala has the largest indoor stadium in India among colleges. Cultural fests, Technical fests, and many more are organized throughout the year. Many clubs are active such as mbaja, ebaja, literature, music, dance, anima, robotics, etc.
Hostel Facilities
From 2nd year onwards everyone gets single rooms with almirahs. The registration process is done only through the college website. Meal quality is average. Basically, 4 types of mess are present- vegetarian, northern, southern, and eastern.
Admission
Admission is done through jossa. You have to give jee mains to get admission here. The application form is available on the NTA site .application fees are different for different category students. The exam is conducted from January to April. General ews, obc, sc, st, and home state reservations are present.
