A glimpse of IIIT BHAGALPUR

The admission process in our case was conducted online mode because of the ongoing Covid pandemic at that time. The admission process is smooth, you will be notified earlier about the document required at the time of reporting to the college on the website of the college i.e. www.iiitbh.ac.in. Since our college operates in PPP mode thus it has all the caste sorts of reservations applied everywhere in government colleges. I don't think there is any sort of need for improvement. You will tackle no difficulties.

I am in CSE DEPARTMENT and I chose this course because of my interest in Computer fundamentals and programming and placement offers are not to be forgotten. Here Faculty to student ratio is quite less that means our college needs some more faculties but this is adjustable as of now as our college came up with new branches in previous years and even it increased seat intake and college emphasis on hiring the best suitable professor for which they take extensive interviews of faculties and that is a time-consuming process. Faculties are well qualified and most of them have done a doctorate and even post-doctorate.

Our college lack internship opportunity as of now but the situation will improve sooner in this regard. Companies do visit for internships even big brand companies like those who offer good salaries.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placement. Approx. 150+ companies visited the previous year and every student was offered either single or multiple offers. Highest -46 lakh, Average -14 lakh, and 100% placement. I would go for a job after getting a degree.

IIITs have quite high fees and our college is none of the exceptions thus it also has huge fees approx. 2,03,500 per year. College won't provide any sort of scholarship but every student can avail scholarship from either NSP or their respective state governments whichever gives a higher amount.

ENYUGMA is the most awaited techno-cultural fest that is conducted every December. There are ample books available in the library, you should have the enthusiasm to study and you are all set to read those. You will be provided AC in selected classrooms. There is a sports fest as such and as of now we have limited space so we can only play cricket, football, and volleyball. A lot of extracurricular events get organized like singing and dancing. Those who have skills can participate or else do enjoy those dance shows. There are ample clubs approx. 15 clubs in our college, you will get enough chances.

In the hostel room, you will be given a study table, a rack to keep your belongings, a hanger to hang clothes, and two beds. Mess food is average. Getting a hostel is very easy here, you won't have to do many tasks for that.
