IIIT Bhagalpur takes admission based on JEE Mains result. If your JEE Mains rank is between 10000-30000, then IIIT Bhagalpur will be a good choice for you. The admission process is completely online.
Course Curriculum Overview
All faculty members are really good and helpful. They are well-knowledgeable and most of them are from IITs and Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is also good but it requires some improvement (The course curriculum is the same as the IIT Guwahati course curriculum).
Internships Opportunities
As the college was established in 2017 and is in its initial phases so there are very less companies available for Internships. But there are so many companies available for internship and Full-time Job opportunities in 4th year.
Placement Experience
For the 2022 batch, the highest package offered was 46LPA. The overall placement percentage was 98.85% for the 2022 batch and 100% batch for the 2021 batch. For the 2022 batch average package was 12LPA. Some top MNCs like Microsoft and Amazon also visited the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total cost for 1-year of the study is around 2.7 lakhs. State scholarships are available. The NSP is also available. Vidya Laxmi Scheme is available for loans. As college is continuously giving very good placement, you can say it's worth paying more than 2 lakhs every year.
Campus Life
Although the college was established in 2017, every club is there such as the coding club, dancing club, singing club, and many more. In 2021, we conducted our first techno-cultural fest named ENYUGMA and our first sports fest named UDYATVA.
Hostel Facilities
As we don't have our campus yet but our new hostels and campus will be completed by June 2023. Therefore we can expect good hostel facilities after that. For now, hostel facilities are not that good but they are Okay to live with.
