Remarks
Actually I am the student of batch 2021 to 2024, So We were selected by our Class 12 Board Exam Marks or we can say it was merit based. Admission process is not too complex in our time we just have to check the cutoff with our marks and then we can apply in a particular course and college. But now because of CUET, admission process has changed.
Course Curriculum Overview
In general Semester means examinations after every 6 months but because of Covid 19 pandemic our semester turned into 3 months but in 3rd year will get 6 months semester. Means semester 5 and 6 will be 6 months semester. Term exams are not too hard you can prefer PYQ (Previous Year Questions) it is very helpful. It helps the students to understand the question patterns and type of questions which are important and which is not. Your College Seniors can provide you the PYQs so talk with them and asked them about the faculties and Exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of internships available in the college. Different companies, start-ups offer Internships. Placement Cell of KMC is very active so they provide opportunities to join internships. Some of them are paid and some of them are unpaid but by joining internships you will learn a lot. It will definitely help you in future.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from 5th semester to get placements, they are eligible for interview from 3rd years. So many companies visited to our college. There are companies from different tiers like Tier 1, 2, 3. Name of the few companies are ICCI Bank, Deshaw, Bain, HDFC Bank, Nation with Namo etc. Packages are like 22 lakhs per annum, 12 lakhs per annum it depends on the student's profile and interview.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually there are so many scholarships you just have to find which is more beneficial for you. For example, NSP is there for all financially weak students, if you are fulfilling the criteria you can apply. Colgate Scholarship is there. Birla Scholarship is there. If you apply for college fee concession then college authority will take your interview if you get selected then you will get the refund but not the total amount it is like 20%, 30%, 40% of your college fees. You can apply for interships (paid) it can be private or government. To get information about internships you can contact seniors or you can join the placement cell or internships society of your college.
Campus Life
There are so many societies and organisations in our college. Few of them are very popular like 1. Debsoc : The Debating Society Of Kirori Mal College. 2. Sensation : Dance Society 3. Players : Drama Society 4. Musoc : Music Society Other societies are also there like Parivartan, FAPS, Bhoomi etc. Organisations are 1. NCC KMC UNIT 2. NSS KMC UNIT
