Best co-ed college in South campus Du- Venky

Admission process was merit based. First we registered in DU website and after some months it's cut off came. We got admissions in college by taking the average of 4 subjects. One can do graduation in Du. So one should have passed 12th. Application form will be available in DU's official website. Application form fee was rs.250. 1% relaxation was given in some co-ed colleges for girls.

Course curriculum is good enough. Faculty members are friendly and calm. They are always available for help. I choosed this course for UPSC exam. There are many faculty members in our college. Like we are having 5 teachers for our MIL (Hindi) subject. Environment and crowd of the college is also good.

When i took admission last year, BA Programme fee structure was 12,500 in Sri Venkateswara College. This year the fee was 14,050. As its a government college, it's fee is not that much high as private colleges. There are many internships in our college for Commerce students.

Life in the campus is decent. It's an eco- friendly college where you will found lots of trees, plants. Myriads of fests are done in college. Du is popular for it's fests and our college has one the best fests in the entire DU. Library has many facilities like newspapers, articles, books in many languages and it has proper shelves for different subjects. Classrooms have projectors and some are having ACs also. Many pages are found in Instagram of different societies of SVC college.

There are 144 rooms in hostel of SVC, 72 in Balaji i.e. boys hostel and 72 in Padvati i.e. girls hostel. The menu is decided for the week and it consists both 4 times meal and both south and north Indian food. One room has 2 beds, 2 cupboards, 2 study table and chairs. SVC releases hostel notification every year and the selection is based on domicile, marks and reservation. Hostel fee is around 11000 which increases every year. Someone can also look up for PG in Satya Niketan. There are myriad of flats and PG nearby as it is a student area with having 6, 7 colleges nearby. However ventilation can be a issue.
