Remarks
My admission process was through merit in 12th. I got a reserved seat under obc noncreamy layer and I got an advantage of 1% compared to the general category. I got admitted into a BA program in economics and political science combination which is good enough but most of the college life completed online sparring for one year and a couple of months. The admission process changed this year to cuet ug exam which is a welcome change.
Course Curriculum Overview
For economics for the first and second years we got a sir named Dr.Ravi Kumar he provided us with good insights and he was strict but we learned a lot From him as we looked into the microeconomic field and the third year largely focused on the Indian economy and we are around 80 students with only 35-40 students attending on a regular basis. And regarding political science faculty - I did not find it good enough in the online classes it is better in offline classes and there are around 200 students but only 70-80 turn up in class. Exams are not difficult to pass u can pass easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is just 11000 per year. The major expense for us is for staying outside which ranges from 10k-12k in a flat. U can apply for scholarships such as nsp which provides you with only 10k. The rest of the scholarship depends on you.
Campus Life
Since covid, no major fests are conducted in college but events for enhancing your ability on understanding various subjects and sessions with prominent members of different fields are conducted quite regularly. Coming to books there are thousands of books in the college library which are mainly old books and even many new books are available for us. College amenities are good and are evolving in a phased manner. We see NCC and NSS in college and some inter-college sports events are also conducted regularly. There are many societies run in College societies.
