I took a BA which is not required any prerequisite and the only eligibility criteria that students should have is passing their 12th class from a recognized college. The application dates and form is available on the official website of Delhi University. The official website will be provided with detailed information regarding reservation and the courses the students can opt for based on their marks and (reservation if available)

First of all, I'm a UPSC aspirant so I took BA as my course which can make me aware of subjects like political science and economics. The faculty in our college is good and they explain very well. The teacher allow us to make presentations so that our skills will be increased. As we all know that the semester will be there every 4 months. And the difficulty to pass the exams at Delhi University is not that hard the people who are frequently attending the classes can easily pass the exams.

Delhi University is known for its placements and students who pass out of college are given good placements. The students of Delhi University are satisfied with the placements which are coming to the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University is the platform where students can get into reputed colleges at affordable prices. My college has a fee of around 13k which is not that high. But people who are not affordable to it can apply for a scholarship under financial assistance where the students need not pay their college fees.

I think I am the right person to say about my college fests and societies in our college. As the academic year starts the students come with enthusiasm to college. And colleges celebrate the annual fests greatly. I'm there in NCC which Provides me with great experience and exposure to all activities. Coming to the library, there are many books that students can get available. The classrooms are of student-friendly

The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Honestly, I got Lady Shree Ram college at first with an English hons degree in hand. But I had Miranda listed 5 times in top 10 colleges I wanted to go to. So, I guess I got what I wanted. But, my dream college was Srcc with an economics degree. I am currently pursuing economics as a minor subject for now though. I believe that Miranda is a great college but it can never offer me what Srcc could. The admission process of my college is through the entrance exam called CUET.
