Remarks

At my time of admission, the admission was based on the 12th percentile. They used to release different cutoffs for different courses and we need to apply depending on our percentage. Now the pattern has changed from this year, from this year students have to write the CUET entrance test.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opt for a BA program with history and political science as the main disciplines. The faculty teaching is good. Faculty members are Ph.D. completed. The student ratio is a little bit more in some subjects. The teaching method is good. Exams are not that difficult.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the BA program is Rs.14,500 per year without the Exam fee. The exam fee is Rs.510 per semester. I got an NSP scholarship for college fees. EWS students will get concessions in fees and also we can apply for different scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life is Awesome. We have different societies like dance society, art society, singing society, western music society, equal opportunity cell, placement cell, etc., our college has an Annual fest called Nexus, which is one of the famous fests in DU. Our library has different types of books like novels, study books, and scientific books, with daily newspapers and magazines. Our college has different sports teams like men's and women's Cricket teams, men's and women's basketball teams, football teams, and many sports teams with a well-maintained cricket ground, basketball court, tennis court, and shuttle court.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
