Remarks

I didn't give any examination.The admission process was based on the percentage of class 12.For BAP the cutoffs go till 99.5-100 %.Till our batch we had cut-off but later on there was exam being conducted CUET namely.The application form and all the details are available on the website of Delhi University.

Course Curriculum Overview

BAP is a multi disciplinary course which gives you an opportunity to study more than one or two subjects.It helps in generalizations of subjects rather than specification of subjects which is helpful for govt exams.The faculty is good and the exams are easy when you genuinely read for them.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 12330 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is very less when compared to the Class 11 and 12 as it is government based University.Its quite affordable.Its less than 15000 per year which makes it very less from our respective schools.The college also helps in financial assistance through various scholarships

Campus Life

First speaking about infrastructure,it is wonderful.Everyobe does say that Girls college is boring but looking at Miranda House you can say that This is what college life is.The library of the college is huge with number of books, different societies,fests are great

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

LADY MIRANDA

Honestly, I got Lady Shree Ram college at first with an English hons degree in hand. But I had Miranda listed 5 times in top 10 colleges I wanted to go to. So, I guess I got what I wanted. But, my dream college was Srcc with an economics degree. I am currently pursuing economics as a minor subject for now though. I believe that Miranda is a great college but it can never offer me what Srcc could. The admission process of my college is through the entrance exam called CUET. You have to get alteast above 720 from 800 if you want Miranda. Top courses require the least score of 760 in second cut off. It ois quite competitive....Read More
