Remarks

The admission process when I joined was online and they selected me on the basis of my intermediate percentage. Present the process of admission has changed like there is an entrance exam called CUCET . The reservation benefits is present and helpful in hostel selection.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

When it comes to the faculty they are best and cooperative with students. They help us through conducting number of tests which helps in getting more marks in the main exams or semester exams . Teaching quality is very good and best.

Placement Experience

3

To my course i.e BA (History and Sociology) there is no placement or such. Students pursuing in science, commerce and some professional courses will get placements with a decent package. When there is no placement options pursuing post graduation in that course may help in getting opportunities like teaching and some specialised professions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee was 12000 and it raised in our second year i.e 14000 there is fee hike. When it comes to scholarships there are some scholarships which help us in the paying of fee. Campus placements are not available for us like only to the BA programme.

Campus Life

5

In the starting it was boring and when I came to meet new friends it was beautiful in our college. Most of the students learn there life and explore in our college. Our friends and me formed some clubs and associations . Most of the important meetinga are done in our big auditorium.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility provided by the college is quite decent but for only limited people. Around 80 people per batch. They'll be provided on the basis of merit, reservation and the distance of their hometown. I never stayed in the college hostel,me with friends stayed in a flat in satyaniketan (area infront of the college). Rents here are quite reasonable considering Delhi's expensive rents on other areas. It's better to share flat with friends where rent won't be a problem.

Interview Experience

1

No,interview or such. Just on the basis of our merit in 12th will be taken into consideration. Till our batch there was no written test but from our next batches written test has been made compulsory for the students i.e CUET.

Night Life

5

College will be closed before 6pm completely only students who live in the hostel will remain there . And the nightlife outside the college is at its peak. There are lots of places infront of the college like cafes, restaurants, parks etc to hung out and a park which is open all night. And it's kinda safe area where police patrol is on everytime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
