I choose this course because becoming an engineer is my aim and this course helps me to true my aim and achieve my goals. The faculty members present in our college are more than 20. Students in our class are 46. Faculty members are highly educated. Exams are tough.

There are a lot of companies that offer internships with our college. Projects and tasks are plays a major role in an internship. Outcomes vary between 10,000/- to 20,000/-. I have not had any internship experience till now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is different for different semesters. Fees are approximately 32,000/- per sem. Fees structure is different for genders, For girls, there are less amount of fees compared to boys. Scholarships are available after filling out the forms.

Campus Life

The campus is really big. There are gardens, parks, and various places for fun. A big library for the study is available here. There are many types of books available in the library. College website are himtu.ac.in.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
