Remarks
First of all, I had appeared for jee main and jee advanced examinations and based on percentile and rank, I got the chance to get admission in this college, Coming to the cutoff then the cutoff for the civil engineering branch in NIT Patna is approximately 97 percentile i.e. rank less than 36000 or 37000.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since NIT Patna is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India so we have all the facilities here. The campus is smaller than other NITs but the quality of education and facilities are really good. The placement record of NIT Patna is also nice compared to other NITs. The faculty are highly qualified and they have good teaching experience. There will be two exams in each semester that is mid-sem and end-sem.
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of companies visiting our campus to select students for internships. You can easily get an internship from the 3rd year in different companies. Those who don't get an internship can do his/her internship under the guidance of a professor.
Placement Experience
The placement record of NIT Patna is improved very well in the last two years. The placement is excellent in all branches. In CSE, it is relatively amazing with the highest package of 51 LPA. In other branches like civil and mechanical, the placement is good with an average package of 9 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee depends on the father's annual income. If your father's annual income is more than 7 lakh then you need to pay all the tuition fees which are around 67 thousand. The hostel and mesa fee per month is 30000 inclusive of the library and exam fees.
Campus Life
The culture of college is well. We have lots of variation here because students from different states are studying. There will be a tech fest for the freshers every year that is Corona and mélange. There are lots of books available in the library you can issue the book at any time and for any period. There are also lots of extracurricular activities held on our campus related to sports and technology like robotics club, intramural, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are really good and the number of people in the room depends upon the size of the room, generally, in 1st year there will be 3 students allowed in a single room but after that in 2nd year, 2 students are allotted in every room. The meal given in the hostel is excellent and there is lots of variation in the menu. And the quality of the food is good.
