JEE(mains) is the first exam which has to be cracked. Students who pass the exam are eligible for JEE advanced. Students who also secure good rank in advanced get admissions in IIT. All the related documents can be found on the Josaa website. There are several reservation criteria for once,sc,st category students along with pwd and news eligibility.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very much interested in mechanical which made me choose mechanical as my career option. The student ratio at IIT Guwahati is around 1:5 .The faculty here is highly qualified and well-educated. The Ph.D. students and teacher's assistants help us clear our doubts very easily. Each term is of around 3-4 months. It is not much difficult to score well in the semesters. A daily study of around 2 hours is even enough for a good score.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft, Gshock, Google, and many offer good companies also let students apply for internships and given give a wholesome amount to some of them. Projects done are also not that difficult. Various projects about the coding environment and other important topics are made by students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is a bit high according to me. The hike occurs around 3-4 years. There are various scholarships available for students such as Mcm and other such scholarships. The scholarships help students with various categories to have ease in their education.
Campus Life
IIT Guwahati doesn't only focus on academics. Sports and culture are also the main things IITs are famous for. Spardha, Spirit, and Alcheringa are a few of the cultural and sports fests happening here. The campus life is really very thrilling and good. One can get all the facilities right from a huge sports ground to a good swimming pool. Thus enhancing students' athletic as well. The classrooms are really very huge and good with very spacious seating arrangements. Facilities like water dispensaries and washrooms are also the in the classrooms.
