Remarks
Eligibility to take admission in Btech is very simple as must have passed 10+2 with a min. of 50% aggregate from a recognized board. You can find the application form on the official website of the college and can apply from there. You will be required to give a test or an interview to finalize the admission. There's no such reservation for admission but there are some scholarships based on marks got in 12th and jee for this particular course. As RIT is one of the best engineering colleges in Uttarakhand, we can say that the admission process is very smooth and easy to proceed.
Course Curriculum Overview
As of being from a science background and a font of passion towards an innovative world, I always dreamt and thought to go for an engineering degree. There's a decent student-faculty ratio as we can say that faculty: student is 1:20
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is also good in our college, as many of our seniors have got internships with a very good package. One of my senior have got an internship in hacker earth with a stipend of 50000 per month which is a very good
Placement Experience
Placement is average not like top engineering colleges but yeah about everyone gets placement with a decent package except some branch students. From the 7th sem we get eligible to sit in placements about 90% of placement is there in cse, 80% in ece, and 60-70% in other branches.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for my course in RIT are very budget friendly as a middle-class student can easily afford it. And scholarships are provided on a sure basis according to your marks and there are some special scholarships for girl students.
Campus Life
Campus life is average, yeah not like big colleges or IITs or NITs or Bits or any big college. But it's overall good. "Anugoonj" is the annual fest of my college. The library facility is very very good as our library is the biggest central library of all colleges in Uttarakhand. Many clubs are under war committee which includes UDAAN, UTHHAN, UTPRERNA, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good with all features of security for a student in college. Mess food is not up to mark???? but it's ok that is eatable. Hostel registration is included (optional) at the time of admission there's no such other activity for a hostel. There are 2 and 3-seater rooms, no single-seater that is the only drawback. Yeah, you can find easily PGs or rent houses nearby.
Interview Experience
I faced a written test that was not tough to crack as most of the questions were from the basics of classes 11 and 12th physics, chemistry, and mathematics and some of them were from English. Then there was an interview-type talk with a very respected and awesome teacher, he just attracted me with his knowledge and appearance to take admission here in this college.
