Remarks
The students who appeared in either the JEE MAINS or BCECE can apply to this college through UGEAC Counselling. The admission is done in 2 rounds. And one is required to have a minimum aggregate of 75% in (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in class XIIth Board Examination and he/she should be a resident of Bihar
Course Curriculum Overview
The Mechanical Engineering course offered by Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology is one of the best here in Bihar as it's one of the oldest colleges in India and has most of the equipment and machines and laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Placement Experience
The placement of this college has improved over the past years. Nowadays companies like Alstom ( Mechanical Engineering), and TCS / WIPRO/INFOSYS ( CS & IT ) have started their placement drives and offering great median salaries.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure is pretty simple and one needs to pay Rs. 5530 at the time of admission as admission cum development and convenience fee. Later Rs.3760 /Semester is to be paid for Semester Examination and yes there are a few scholarships available like Bihar student's Credit cards, National Scholarships, Post Matric Scholarships, etc.
Campus Life
The annual technical fest i.e. Techmiti and annual sports fest i.e. Umang are conducted by the respective clubs of the college. There is a college library available with lots of books for students of different years and branches. And the government has approved an e-library for college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are provided by College itself. The facilities provided here are like Tables, Chairs, Beds, Almirah and free electricity. The hostel is fully wifi enabled and the meal quality is average.
