Remarks

My admission was done through the management quota in which I contacted the counselor of the college. All the process of admission was done with his help of him. Another mode of admission was through the jee mains counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have to study about 5 theory subjects each semester and 2-3 practical subjects each. All the faculties are Ph.D. qualified. Teachers are helping in nature and have kind attitudes. There are two mid-term exams conducted in a semester.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 108000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the first year is a little bit higher than other years as it includes one-time fees also. Fees for the first year are approx 112000 Rs. Fees for the second, third, and fourth years are approx 107000 Rs. The scholarship is given on the basis of sports quota, 12th marks, and jeep scores.

Campus Life

Life on campus is average here. But there are some events also conducted here. Annual Fest "Anugoonj " is conducted every year from March -April. Annual TechFest "Technomax" is conducted every year in even the semester. Annual sports fest "Sportech" is also conducted in the odd semester.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
