Course Curriculum Overview
You have the option to choose the course based on your obtained rank in JEE Advanced. You should either go to a branch as per your rank or as per your allotted branch. Faculty members of IIT Roorkee are very talented.

The on-campus internships start in the third year of the B.Tech. course. Companies visit the campus and take interview & tests and offer interns. Apart from these internships, there are various abroad exchange programs where you are offered a particular amount of stipend in the range of 1 lac per month.

On campus internships start from the third year of B.Tech and placements start in the fourth year of the B.Tech. Placements at IIT Roorkee are far better than most other IITs and even if you don't get placed or are not in desired one, you have a plethora of opportunities off-campus.

There are various scholarships and fee waiver schemes available on the campus of IIT Roorkee where you can avail of the full fee scholarship from the concerned authority with some required documents. You have the opportunity to get placed at a high CTC costing more than 1 crore.

IIT Roorkee is one of the best places to live for the student. There are various trip spots nearby IIT Roorkee like Rishikesh, Chopta, Haridwar, Dhanolti, and many more. Thomso is the annual cultural fest of IIT Roorkee where thousands of students come from all over India.
Hostel Facilities
After getting into IIT Roorkee, in the first year, Rajendra Bhawan is allotted for boys and Sarojini Bhawan for girls. The fees of the hostel and accommodation are included in the fees. The meal quality of Bhawan is good enough to live.
