Only one that college is not coed . There is some management problemsin some faculty.

I have done my internship from bharat heavy electrical ltd. Ranipur haridwar it was a great source to know more about my electrical engineering.

Generally it sector company visit in which tcs,hcl,ibm,inphosys are common, instead of that some other companies also comes.They offer salary average 3- 4 lacks/ annum.

College Events

Different types of festival celebrates in my university in which " jnanagni" which is the festival celebrate in my facult is largest on.This is annual techfest,insteasd of that other lots of festival celebrates .

Fee Structure And Facilities

As its government university so mess fees is limited, food are not bad they offer good in 2- 4 year but in first year i think not good.i want to rate them 8 /10.

Campus life is boring ,our university is not coed so firls and boys have different faculty.There is lots of extra carricum activities occurs in my college time to times in which all the sports,robotics events are common.

Our senior are good .They helps us lot .I want to give them rating 10/10.

Its a very old university it's a great place to research in vedas science literature etc.Faculty are genious.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
