Electronics and communication provide ample opportunities in software industries as well as hardware industries and there are recent investments in chip building and the semiconductor sector which will increase job opportunities in this sector. Government services are also there to cater for the needs of Electronics engineers. Approximately 1:60 is faculty: student ratio in most departments Faculties are well experienced and educated having high qualifications, mostly having post-doctoral fellowships and 5+ years of experience in research. Teachers are really supportive and whatever they teach in class is very relevant for end-semester examinations. One can ace the examination if he/she is really attentive in class. Exams are held timely, mainly two types of exams happen in one semester i.e mid-sem and end-sem. End-semester examinations have high weightage than mid-sem exams.

Overall 40 per cent of students easily get internships if they are from circuital branches. You just have to be active in clubs and participate and initiate different projects in clubs or you can individually work on projects a month before an internship.

Students can sit in placements from the 7th semester and they can avail of internships from the 5th semester. As per the statistics, the highest package offered to the students during NIT Patna placement was INR 1.82 crore per annum, whereas the average and minimum packages were INR 12.67 LPA and INR 8.8 LPA, respectively. As per the reports, a total of 132 recruiters visited the campus to hire the most talented or skilled manpower. It also came out that CSE, Electronics, and IT branches bagged the maximum number of offers this year. The top recruiter of 2022 was Facebook, though it was off campus, On campus placement, offers include Atlassian 27 lpa, adobe 44 lpa, parth universal 45 lpa etc. CSE have 100 per cent placements and electronics and communication engineering have 90+ per cent placement, electrical and mechanical have 80+ per cent and civil has 60 + per cent of placement and it is further going to improve as per the statistics and proposed plan of NIT Patna

Actually, mostly I have seen NITs are very affordable w.r.t iiits, iits and other private institutes and one can easily get education loan from banks. On-campus internship chances are very low, you have to rely on off-campus chances, one can search on the internet for that. There is no such fees hike.

There are two types of fests which are conducted on our campus i.e techno-cultural fests and inter-departmental cultural fest which is named the corona, melange and eccentrica respectively. They are conducted around the corner of the year mainly from October to December. There are ample amounts of books present in the library for every course. One can gain wholesome knowledge through different types of books present in the library. Classrooms sizes are spacious in order to accommodate around 150 pupils. Some Classrooms are small but most classes are conducted in spacious classrooms. The campus is only 40 acres(Soon it is going to shift to bihta and i.e of around 125 acres)but there is a playing area for different sports like Table tennis, badminton, snooker and common ground for cricket and football with stands for 1000+ students. There are different cultural clubs(saptak, total chaos, expresso )and core clubs (backslash, gdsc, same, robotics) and they initiate different entertaining methods of learning

Residential facilities are provided to students in three boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostel. Presently, all the girls and many of the boys are accommodated in these hostels. The hostels are guarded round the clock by able private security staffs.Patrolling is also done by state security personnel during night. There are also separate wardens for each and every hostel in order to maintain discipline. Each hostel provides a central mess facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Uninterrupted water and electricity supply are also provided. Hostels have got separate wi fi connections for providing internet facilities to students 24x7. Newspapers and magazines are put up in the common rooms. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of and maintained in every aspect. Meals are of average quality but maintain proper hygiene while serving and preparing the same. One can register for hostel at the time of admission but HMC will decide the allotment of different hostels to students according to availability
