Remarks
Eligibility of the course, Minimum 60% in 12th standard. The application form is available at the campus and the same is provided as per need. Consultants are also available at the campus they can guide if any help is needed. I didn't take any reservation benefits and as far as I know, there are no such benefits available at this university. The admission process is not very complex and hence no improvement is suggested from my end.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because of the scope of this course. I was a bit confused between CS and EC but then I made a decision and chose EC. Faculties are very talented and experienced and have good expertise in their subjects. Faculties are available in backup as well who take care of in absence of other faculty. The minimum qualification for every faculty is Ph.D. Every faculty is able to make students understand the topic they teach. Exams happen twice a semester and the difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite good compared to other institutions in the state. Students can appear in the placement after 6th semester. Top companies who visit the campus are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, ZTE and many others companies visit the campus. At least 40% of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike policy is not there as such and no fee increment happens once admission is taken. Fees remain the same for the current students. But fees may vary for newcomers. I did not get any scholarship. Got a job with a stipend of Rs 15000/month.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named GRAFEST and generally happens in the month of November or December. Most of the books are available in the library and can be issued on demand. Classrooms are well-spaced and all basic amenities are available. Every six months a sports tournament takes place. The tournament is very exciting. There are multiple student groups but political groups are not active in the university.
