Remarks

Students should have a minimum of 55 marks to get admission to Delhi University and they can find the application form on Delhi University's official website. After application process, the cut-offs are released and then students are required to fill up their college priorities. Then according to their percentage, the colleges are allotted. But now CUET is introduced last year and now on behalf of CUET students will get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course As I have to build my career in computer science for which I want to do MCA in my masters for which I will give NIMCET exam in which maths is required so the s will help very much in my preparation. I believe the faculty of Acharya Narendra Dev College is very very excellent and supportive. The teaching method I liked the most and they interact very well with students.

Companies like portronics Flipkart and infotech visited the colllege and they provide Government internship also but I am not involved in this yet. We have a virtual lab also which help computer science students to build their career in remote sensing and web development.

There are average placements in our college and the highest package offered is 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest package given is 2.5 lakhs per annum. The average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum. I want to do MCA from Top NIT then I will think about placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies from course to course and for this course fee structure is 8000 per annum. There are many scholarship opportunities provided at this college. I also applied for a scholarship to this college.

Campus Life

We have the very best cultural fest in the college named Leiothrixx. This is a very big event that occurs every year. And Our cultural society of college is very good and we have a theatre society which is doing excellent in all.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
