Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I'm more interested in the field of AI. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. Term exams are conducted every 2 months and it's medium difficult to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Internships Opportunities

We get internship opportunities from various companies like skillvertex, teachnook, etc. The average stipend they offer is around 15000 rupees per month. it helps the student to be more informed about their carrier.

Placement Experience

students become eligible for campus placements by the end of the 6th sem. The companies for placements include, ibm,infopark,byjus,south Indian Bank, etc. More than 20% of the students are getting placed on their 1st try itself. I prefer to do my higher studies after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships for students in mainly 4 categories, namely merit 1 category, merit 2 category, merit 3 category, and merit 4 categories. Students not having any scholarships should remit nearly 35000/- per semester.

Campus Life

Tech fest(asthra) are conducted in every odd sem and cultural fest(Sargam) and sports are conducted in every even sem. The college has a library, which is fully equipped with all the requirements for students. The classroom consists of a board and a projector for better teaching and presentation facilities. There are extracurricular activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, etc. For students. The college has many student communities like tinkerhub, IEEE, IEDC, etc to enrich the student's minds.

Admission

I got admission to SJCET according to my merit ranks. They will consider the performance in engineering entrance examinations like KEAM OR JEE MAINS, and the academic excellence in 10th and 12th standards. Students can apply from the official college site or they can do it offline, directly by contacting the college office. So far, I have no more comments on improving the admission processes.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

SJCET IDEA

I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
