Course Curriculum Overview
I want the CSE branch but I got the ECE branch based on my ranking. The faculty of NIT Patna is well-qualified and experienced. Almost all are assistant professors. Professors use both methods digital and physical methods for their teaching. There is mid-semester and end-semester exams that happened in 1 semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are increasing year by year at NIT Patna. Companies like Amazon oracle Oyo sap and others are coming to nit to provide internships to students. Students need to have a good command of DSA and at least one or 2 projects. Good communication skills help him or her to get more advantages.
Placement Experience
The placement is good. More than 70 companies have visited the campus during NIT Patna placements 2022-23. Further, the highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 16.51 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters during NIT Patna placements in 2023 included leading companies such as Adobe, VISA, and Oracle. Earlier, NIT Patna concluded its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. As per the latest media reports, the highest package offered during the NIT Patna placement in 2022 was INR 1.8 crore per annum, which was offered by Amazon. The second highest package was offered by Meta, which stood at INR 1.6 crore per annum. Further, the institute has achieved an overall 130% placements in 2022, which is the best the institute has recorded. Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are according to income of the family. Students who have a family income less than 1 lakhs then no tuition fee only academic pay. Many MNCs companies come in our college for placement, and placement is improved every year.
Campus Life
Life in a campus is quite good. We have all types of court for sports activities like badminton , volleyball , kabaddi etc. Adequate campus space for chilling and time passing. The ground is medium type. Cricket grounds, and football all are on one pitch. Hostel for 2nd year is best. Hostel life is best. Events are going on every Saturday and Sunday break. Like cricket tournaments and football and volleyball tournaments always going on weekends.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides a fan, a bed and one almirah, a table and chair, and Wi-Fi. Two students are living in a single room. The hostel provides all the basic things. Meal quality is good and provided according to the menu .mesh faculty also provide a coupon of rupee 500 for purchasing Gulab jamun and rasgulla, curd, and other dishes. You have to pay this amount when you are paying your hostel fees. Your College provides a link in Gmail id for all students, those who want to live in a hostel can fill out this form. And the hostel will provide according to roll wise.
Admission
Students need to crack jee main with 96.5 percentile and above in the general pool for both their home state and another state. Here NIT provides courses in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. Also for B Arch and integrated MCA. 50% of the seat is the for home state and 15% for the girl's category. First you have to appear in JEE Main so that you will get admission to NIT Patna.
