The Internship Mania

As per my field of interest and jee mains rank I'm getting this college only. As it is a very old and good college so I go for it. The faculty-student ratio is quite impressive which is nearly 1:10 . And also the faculty are well qualified most of the professor has done m.tech and Ph.D. from renowned Institute like IITs, and NITs, and also some has done their Ph.D. from foreign universities also. And their methodology is quite good but sometimes I feel bored. And exams are held timely and it is not as difficult to pass the exams here.

College provides you with many internship opportunities and also you apply for others internships also from some other source. Some internships provide a stipend as well as experience while some provide only experience. Also, you got a project in the 4th year which you have to perform.

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester or the 3rd year onwards. Here almost all the tech giants come and PSUs come like meta, Google, Amazon, Adobe, American Express, Deloitte, Samsung, etc, and PSUs like BHEL, ONGC, HPCL, NTPC, etc. And many others companies also visit our campus and offers good package. The placement percentage is approx. 85%

The college provides scholarships for economically weaker sections which apply to tuition fees only. The sc/st and PWD candidates do not have to pay any tuition fees. While for gen/obc candidates the candidates whose parents' annual income is less than ? 1 lakh then they do not have to pay tuition fees. And the candidates whose parents' income is between? 1 lakh -?5 lahks they have to pay only 33.3% of tuition fees.While whose annual income is above ? 5 lakh for them there is no fee waiver scheme.

Our campus life is so good and happy enjoy here so much here social life is so happy there are so many clubs at NIT Patna like Tesla, Hackslash, Natvansh a drama club, aarthi -music club, dance club, American Society of civil engineering, Sankalp, Robotics club, etc. And also we have a separate gym for boys and girls. There are so many books, journals, and magazines which are available in the library and you can access it online also. In our college, there are many types of sports and extra curricular activities like basketball, kabaddi, football, cricket, badminton, squash, table tennis, chess, volleyball, etc. Sankalp is the group which is run by our college students in which they provide free education to classes 1-10 and also provides the basic amenities like pen pencil books copy etc.

The hostel given in 1st year is not that good but after 1st year we get the Brahmaputra hostel which is a quite big and well-maintained hostel. The hostel room contains all the basic facilities and also provides wifi facilities. The meal quality and menu are good and not that bad. The registration process for a hostel is started at the time of admission.

First, we have to apply for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains which is held twice a year in which the one with the best percentile is considered for rank calculation. . After the result declaration of JEE ADVANCED, the counseling process gets started by JOSAA which contains 6 rounds. You should fill your choices wisely as it may land you in a bad college. When you got allocated a seat in any college then you have to pay a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) which is? 35000 for gen/obc and ? 15000 for sc/st students. You will see that three options are freeze, float, and slide. Freeze means that the choice you allocated is final and you do not have to participate further. Float means that you are accepting this allocated seat but if you get a seat above this choice you will get that one and not the previous one. Slide means that you are accepting this seat but if you got a seat in the very same college above this choice then you will get that one and not the previous one.
