Course Curriculum Overview
In mechanical engineering, the faculties are very good and provide good grades. Every semester we have two exams one mid-term and the other end-term. You have regular labs and practicals are done thoroughly over here. Exams might be easy as well as difficult but since grading is relative it doesn't matter much.
Internships Opportunities
The placement and internship cell manages internships for 3rd-year student companies that come and hire students for internships. Minimum stipend - 40,000 offered by Tata steel and maximum 2700000. Like placement, we have an internship test, and then shortlisted candidates are called for an interview which comprises 2 rounds of tech and HR.

We have a placement and internship cell at IIT Roorkee which manages placement and internship here. Many big companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, sprinkler, graviton, American Express, ITC, etc. visit here. we have had 100% placement at IIT Roorkee for the past 3 years as well as the average package is around 1700000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for Btech 4 years is around 10,00000. Several scholarships are offered here who perform well in academics as well as we have many reservations for SC and ST students. IIT Roorkee is best among other IITs in terms of placement. For the past 3 years, we had 100% placement at IIT Roorkee.
Campus Life
Campus Life is best at IIT Roorkee. Unlike any other private colleges here you have the majority of freedom as well as you have night tapris in every hostel which provides you with good food throughout the night. Also, we have many cultural fests like Thomson, etc. which makes it more happily.
Hostel Facilities
Here we have a total of 12 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels.in 1st year all the boys reside in Rajendra Bhawan and the girls in Kasturba Bhawan but from 2nd year most of the boys opt for single rooms and girls till 3rd year lives in triple sharing. single rooms are very compact and bathrooms are often not maintained.
Admission
For admission to IIT Roorkee, you have to first clear JEE Main exam, and then only you have access to give JEE advanced paper. If perform well in JEE Advanced and your rank is above 6k you will surely get admission over here.
