Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I got this in csab round and I think rather than go to any private college I prefer the national institute of technology Agartala for my B.Tech in chemical engineering. Here I can learn to code and enhance my skills as well along with my B.Tech in chemical engineering. In the chemical engineering faculty: the student ratio is 1:20-30. I think the professors are highly qualified enough to teach us. Our lecture is in English but sir also explains in Hindi sometimes. As it is the national institute of technology exams are mostly on time and not much difficult to pass if you attend all lectures.
Internships Opportunities
In nit mostly company visit and gives opportunity to students for internship. Some companies like Oracle Bharat petroleum etc. offered internships. But as it is NIT has opportunities.
Placement Experience
After 6th sem students are eligible for placement. More than 50 companies visit every year like Google, Microsoft, oil India, etc. More than 300 offers were made. The highest package is 42 lakh/annum(Google as Software Engineer) CSE. Average package approx. 8 lakh per annum. 90% of students got placed and some are continuing their studies. After getting a degree, start working as a software engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
100% Tuition Fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students. Full remission of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum. (Applicable to B.Tech)Remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh per annum. I am getting minority scholarships initiated by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Campus Life
Ayam is the annual tech fest it is mostly conducted in January month. Basic classroom having projector and Wi-Fi and charger facilities. NIT Agartala has a big sports complex where we can play the most games it included two major grounds for cricket and football grounds and small grounds for hockey basketball, etc. also having indoor and outdoor grounds. I think this college is much better extracurricular activities There are many clubs like DCC Nita ( competitive coding club) cricket club, fine arts, etc.
