Course Curriculum Overview

I am a student in the Electrical department. Why did I choose this course over the cs and ece branch? I choose this branch because of its versatile nature, apart from that electrical engineering is considered the toughest branch of engineering. If you can choose this branch then you can also give exams like IES and also you can take this as an optional subject in IAS. You have also a chance to sit in the placements of other branches as well if you have good coding skills. In NITP faculty: students is 1:60. Qualification status is also good. All are graduates of NITs or IITs. There are two terms in 1 semester the paper level is also tough here. You can't pass an exam without studying.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here scholarships are given to the students according to their categories. Many students here get NSP. Parents' income should be less than 8 lahks per annum for getting this scholarship. Here I don't think there is any job facility as far as I know.

Campus Life

Here recently there is one cultural fest Eccentrica 4.0 organised. Also, Technotone and many more fest are conducted. In the library, you can find the book of your course. NITP has a nice collection of books. The sports culture is very nice here. Recently our seniors have gone for inter NIT competition and I am feeling proud to say we have got many gold medal silver medals also in kabaddi and all.

Hostel Facilities

Here there is only one girls hostel and there are 2,4,6seaters room available.Mess food is also normal but not tasty.But there is a coupon facility by which you can eat non veg and sweets etc. Registration process is simple you have to go to HMC office and just write a application they will alot you hostel room

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

In NITP admissions are taken via Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) which is held every year. All 12th students can give this exam. The application form is online available. For general candidate fees is 1500 and for other categories, it is affordable, apart from that there is also seat reservation for Sc, St, OBC candidates. Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good but if you work hard about study then you will be selected for campus placement. Many companies visit here. 40 percentage students approx get placement. I have to clear competitive exams after it.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

I choose an NIT patna Mainly because of its nit tag Decent placement record and affordability compared to private college. I had Also applied To a few other IIT Triple I I bought options in lower branch it is slightly Better late and similar budget in new nit. IT do not get to an empty slide 3G Surat Karan Warangal due to my jee main rank. So I choose the best available options based on my rank. I don't choose this college I have taken jossa counselling and by my rank I go to this collage And this is also a good colleges Note a bad thing. i have applied for other collays also like nit trichy nit jaipur and many more colleges but due to my rank differences I do not go to these colleges.
