Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am very interested in this course. It is the best suitable course for a UPSC aspirant. The faculty is of top quality. It will not disappoint you. You will find very friendly teachers who will also teach you important life lessons, and will not limit you to just bookish things.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have not joined any internship yet in my college. But I have seen and also gotten many emails from my college to do internships provided by some companies in the college. I am not very aware of any internship job with any stipend.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year to 6th semester, a student generally becomes eligible for placement. Companies like Nestle and Wipro have visited our college for placement. I am not quite aware of the accurate package. But yeah you got a very decent package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is okay. My 3-year course fee is 45000 rupees. There are also many scholarships for ews, obc, sc, and even for minority students. There are scholarships that are specially given by the college and some by du student welfare.

Campus Life

In my college life, there is no specific time for a fest. But in du colleges, you will find the cultural fest around between January and March. There are lots of books available in the Library. There are many sports facilities. There are many societies you could join like NCC, NSS , photography cell

Admission

I got admission on the basis of my 12th standard percentage. I had just registered for admission in the du portal and I had to apply for those colleges by the du cut-off list. But now for admission, everyone who wants to be a student of du has to give the entrance exam

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
