Course Curriculum Overview
I had a keen interest in politics and to understand it better I took this course. The faculty of the political department of deshbandhu college is quite good. Professors have a lot of knowledge and are ready to teach and help students in every aspect.
Internships Opportunities
Many internships are available and one can be benefited from them. Recently in our college, there was a notice of industrial standard internships for the students. Also, the placement cell of every college of Delhi university posts regularly on internships.
Placement Experience
I'm currently in the first year and know a little about placements, but yes recently our college Bajaj capital limited senior manager visited. The highest package offered in our college is 3 lakhs 30 thousand per annum and the maximum package offered to date is 4 lakh 15 thousand per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Taking admission is quite a challenging task but already the fee structure is not that much. It's quite affordable for most. But there are certain schemes of scholarships which students can take benefit from.
Campus Life
The social life at Delhi university is excellent. Freshers should not worry about ragging because seniors are too good and the campus is against ragging. There are also many societies one can take part in such as drama society, Music society, dance society, and many more.
Admission
After board exams, I gave CUET which was meant to take admissions to central universities of India. I filled in 2,3 college preferences including JNU, BHU, and DU from which DU was my first preference. CUET examination fees were 1300 for two phases for the general category though there were concessions for other backward classes. We had our first exam in July and got allotted centers. Though there were some cases in which the centers got changed on the day of the exam NTA gave them another chance to appear! The exams were moderate not too easy or tough!
