College life and campus

I choose this course because I want to become a software engineer. The faculty in the college is very friendly and diverse. If you want to do anything extra from academics you approach any faculty they will help you better. The student ratio of each section is about 70 approximately. The faculty here is highly qualified. Some faculty members are studying foreign and some obtain their degrees from the world's best universities. They will teach students quality education not quantity. They will never throw education on us instead they grow our interest in studying. There were two types of exams in one-semester Midterm and End term. Mid-term consist of a total of 25 marks and the End term is of 50 marks @5 marks are from sessional which includes your behaviour, attendance, extracurricular activities and many things. The exam is difficult but the method of teaching faculty is made possible to pass easily.

University offers a wide range of internship opportunities to its students in collaboration with reputed companies and organizations. The internships are typically offered in the final year of the program and are aimed at providing students hands-on experience in their respective fields of study. Some of the companies that are known to offer internships to students include Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS and Accenture.

Students become eligible for campus placements from their final year. Reputed companies such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Accenture visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered was around 40 LPS, while the average package was around 15 - 20 LPA. The university has a high placement percentage, with around 90% of students getting placed in reputed companies every year. If campus placements are not offered, students can explore other jobs such as internships, or entrepreneurship. My plan after getting my degree is to take a placement in a highly reputed company.

The fees structutre can very depending on the course and program that you choose to pursue. However in general, the fees can be considered as moderate to high compared to other universities in india. As for the opportunity of scholarships , financial assistance , and campus jobs, graphic era offers a range of options to its students. The university provides scholarship to students who havve secured excellent in academics or who come from economically weaker section. In terms of campus jobs , the university has a dediacted placement cell that helps students to find suitable job oppportunities on campus. The placement cell also provides assistance to students in finding off campus job opportunities. As for my personal experience , I am taking scholarship of percentile above 90% in 12th

Life at GEU is like close to nature and the environment here is so natural. The annual fest name here is GRAFEST which takes place every year in the month of October. There are many fests which are conducted in college but GRAFEST is the main fest. At GRAFEST, celebrities and singers came where students enjoy themselves a lot. There are more than 5 libraries here. Each department has different libraries and one main library is common for all. Classrooms and Lecture theatres are big in size which is associated with all amenities. Every year there a lot of sports events take place in college every two months in which sports like cricket, football and running are the main sports. Many social groups are run by students in which most popular among students are GEU ACM, NSS, and GEU FINANCE which anyone can join.

Hostel facilities are available for both males and females. The hostels are well equipped with basic amenities such as 24 hr security, WI-fi and recreational areas. The hostel rooms are usually on a shared basis and can accommodate up to 2-3 students. The facilities provided in the rooms usually include a bed, study table, chair and a wardrobe. As for meal quality and menu, the university mess serves a variety of vegetarian meals with different options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snacks, The registration process for hostel wise depends on the course and program chosen by the student. Students who wish to stay in the hostel should contact to hostel authority and also book their rooms from online portal. Currently, I am staying in a college hostel. The food and other amenities here are perfect.

To take admission in graphic era there are two options one is offline and other is online. Online forms are avilable on college official website www.geu.ac.in. Also application dates and fees are also available on college website. Reservation are also available for 75% percentile students and special reservation for girls .According to me to take admission in graphic era there must a competitive exam.
