NICE COLLEGE

I loved all the time spent in my college can't forget any moment spent there.

I cleared jee main exam in 2013 and scored 158/360 and got admission here in nit Kurukshetra electrical branch.

Course structure is years old, most of the students will lose interest in studies after seeing the course. Changes should be made in course according to time to increase of students in course. Electrical and electronics have most subjects in common.

No college does not provide internships, you have to apply for internships by yourself by your sources or online.

Most of the placements companies are from it sectors, so it is better if you have cs or it backgrounds, minimum pointer criteria in generally 7.5 for most of the companies to be eligible for sitting in placements. Placements are not good for core branches.

Events are organised in every two months nearly, techspardha, confluence, and many more. Confluence is main event of nit Kurukshetra which is organised in month of February. There are various clubs like mad, sac etc. To mange and organise such events.

In my course fees was rs. 2250 per semester excluding hostel fees which was increased in 2015 due to removal of subsidies by central government for general and obs students only, and making completely free for sc/st students.not it is around rs.40000/- per semester for gen/obc and rs.0/- per sem for sc/st.

Toppers of every branch are selected for scholarship programms every year. Other than that sc/st/obc students can get scholarship if there family income is below a certain amount.

Campus life is full of freedom, you will meet persons from all over the country so diversity is immense, sex ratio was improved thanks to normalisation in my batch, since now it is gone it will come to it's original level again. Sports events keeps on all through year.

First years hostel food is mess, you have to adjust after coming from home , you will miss home food everyday of your college, those who live in nearby cities will travel to home as much time as they can, lan is available in hostels, all freedom is given to you in hostels.

I didn't had mych interactions with seniors because i was not in any clubs or anything. Raging is strictly banned in nit.

After 1.5 months of the start of semester you have to give 1st mid terms and mid term breaks of one week, than second mid term is waiting for you with one one month of finishing of breaks you didn't happen to acknoledge finals are waiting for you next month.

EXAM NOTIFICATION COME IN MONTH OF NOVEMBER AND EXAMS HAPPENS IN MONTH OF APRIL, RESULTS IN COME IN APRIL-MAY, JEE COUNSELLNG STARTS AFTER RANK HAVE BEEN DECLARED. THERE ARE FOUR ROUNDS OF COUNSELLING FOR FINAL ROUND (SPOT ROUND) YOU HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE.

Faculty is recruited through entrance exams and came from reputated institutes. Professors are very experienced and friendly, there are some assistant professors who are new dont want to give marks to easily and want students to work really hard to pass.
